Hey you, my name is Filippo Cinotti

I’m a DP and a Colorist who operates worldwide in the commercials and film industry.

I started my career as a freelance Filmmaker back in 2008, and before that, I worked as a Photographer and Graphic Designer.

After a few years in the Industry, I mainly worked as a Freeflysystem MOVI Operator for a while, deciding then in 2016 to translate everything I was doing mainly into the image craft in its entirety.

With Plasma, I decided to take my knowledge and craft professional Masterclasses and products for the Filmmaking community.

When I started my Filmmaking career in 2009, I had no idea what I was doing.

Even though I've been freelancing for 12 years, I knew next to nothing about what I was doing. I was just doing it.

Just look at my ‘Lord of the Rings’ Inspired short from 2009…

The vibes were real, I felt them in my spine.

It was just me, a camera, a few friends, and dozens of movies. I haven't a roadmap, methods, or way of working...

I felt lost, frustrated, angry, furious, but in love

and that's where my transformation started

That was the moment were I officially decided to go all in into Filmmaking

I pushed myself 100% into sets, masterclasses, courses, live events, everything that was helpful in any possible way.

I was consuming everything I could, from literally thousands of creators, and at the same time, give to the practical side a big part: long days and nights on many different sets proved what I was learning day after day about Filmmaking and Cinematography in general.

Than, in 2015 I decided to put myself full-time into Cinematography, and then Color Grading.

In that moment, I started working on many sets, different projects, and things literally get serious
